We facilitate regional dialogue on climate change issues

The GCCA+ Intra-ACP programme believes in fostering cooperation and networking on climate change issues, particularly at the intra- and inter-regional scales. The technical support unit, based in Brussels, Belgium, is responsible for facilitating and promoting international policy dialogue on climate change. The programme works towards this goal through two main efforts.

  • The programme hosts a unique series of technical meetings with Regional Partners in which common issues related to climate change are identified and discussed.
  • The programme takes an active role in discussions surrounding international climate change agreements – specifically the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties meetings – by hosting activities that enable ACP States to prepare for and identify issues of common concern within the context of the ACP Secretariat and Regions.
