🚌 In Samoa, the GCCA+ project Marine Spatial Planning has launched educational materials such as a radio campaign and key messages printed on a public bus, in order to raise awareness on the values of Fish Reserves and No Take Zones.
Through this project, the EU Strategy for cooperation in the Indo-Pacific is translated “at the country and community level, to balance ocean protection, the sustainable management of marine resources and adaptation to climate change”, said the Ambassador of the European Union to Samoa, H.E. Sujiro Seam.
The EU-funded four-year project, now in its last year, has also presented key reports and outputs which include simplified infographic materials for better informing the general public. 🌊
